People Counter - Counters to count people in an automated way are used in all kind of public places without the people whom are passing by noticing it. Examples of such place are airports, train stations, shopping malls. These systems use different technologies, and are more or less sophisticated. One of the most advanced systems on the market today is the counting hardware and software offered by company named LASE.

LASE basically offers two types of sensors, a large one and a smaller one. The large one, the Standard PeCo is used in sports stadiums, airports, shopping malls. The passage width can be up to 26m wide and 15m high. The Compact PeCo is ideal for shops and so on, and can guard a passage up to 4m wide and 4m high.
