Safety Light Curtains – Protecting fingers, hands, ankles and torso from getting hurt.

Safety light screens are applied in machine construction whenever there is the need to protect the operator’s fingers, hands, ankles or torso. These non-contact machine guarding systems are used when we need to cover or safe-guard a small or large area. Depending on what we need to protect: fingers, hands, ankles or torso, the screen are selected. Another selection criteria is the safety category: 2, 3 or 4. A safety light screen consists of an emitter and a receiver, plus a control box and cables to connect the emitter and receiver to the control box.
Newer types do not use a separate control box. The functionality of the control box, for the newest models, resides in the receiver. Some models are suitable for heavy-duty machine guarding applications.
